Following the death of Paul Walker in November last year, production on Fast and Furious 7 stopped for a few months and the release date was pushed to April 10, 2015. It has been announced that Walker’s character Brian O’Connor, will be retired in the film series and that Walker’s brother, Cody Walker will step in for a few scenes as a stand in. The film also stars Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson and Jason Statham among others. Side Note: They were showing The Fast and The Furious (first released in 2001) on TV the other day and my heart broke all over again, RIP Paul.

It’s been a tragedy that has shocked the world. actor Paul Walker, 40, died in a car accident in Los Angeles yesterday, November 30, 2013. He was returning from a charity event with a friend, who also died in the crash.
The actor, most noted for his role as Brian O’Conner in the massive “Fast and Furious” franchise, also appeared in memorable films like “Into the Blue” with Jessica Alba and in the film adaptation of Michael Crichton’s bestselling book “Timeline.” He was in the middle of filming “Fast and Furious 7” and it is unknown how the tragedy will affect the production.
Paul was heavily involved with charity work and had his own, Reach Out Worldwide which was most recently helping out victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
His death came as a shock to the industry with colleagues and fans alike being unable to come to terms with his passing. Co-stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster and many others have tweeted and instragrammed their condolences.
