J. K. Rowling
Last year’s detective novel The Cuckoo’s Calling burst into the bestseller book lists when it was revealed that the author Robert Galbraith was actually a pseudonym used by J. K. Rowling, author of the best selling Harry Potter novels and The Casual Vacancy.
The first book featuring detective Cormoran Strike made it’s quiet debut in April 2013 but when the identity of the actual author got leaked, the book quickly became a bestseller and was received well unlike the author’s other adult work, The Casual Vacancy.
It was also revealed last year that there will indeed be a sequel and that J. K. Rowling had already written it.
It has now been revealed that the second book is called “The Silkworm” and will be published on June 24, 2014! This year folks!!!

The novel is going to be 384 pages long, a little shorter than its 464 page predecessor.
